Post-Bacc Research Assistant


Brooke Streicher, B.A.

Brooke graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and a minor in Social Work from Texas Tech University in Fall 2022. As an undergrad, she worked as a research assistant in the Prevention & Intervention Lab and Dr. Jason Van Allen’s ENERGY Lab. She is currently working as a post-baccalaureate research assistant in both the Prevention & Intervention Lab and Dr. Sean Mitchell’s Suicide Risk and Prevention Lab. Brooke ultimately plans to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology.

Brooke’s current research interests include the impact of adverse childhood experiences and peer victimization on the social and emotional development of youth. Her interests also involve the treatment and prevention of internalizing and externalizing problems and suicidal ideation/behavior in middle childhood.
